WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: About half a song into "How It May Be Lawful And Fitting..." you realize that The Wobblies is a group of guys that you don't want to get into an argument with. The Wobblies' politically charged, crusty post-punk is full of complaint, outrage, and political dissent, but more importantly, full of reasons why you should listen to what they have to say. The production captured a live sound that amplifies just how chaotic and raucous this band truly is. More bands need to do this and stray from the gloss and noise reduction that plagues otherwise noble releases. Smart, restless, loud, raw, and dirty, The Wobblies have it all there and tie the package up with a politically-taught bow of discontent. It's nice hearing music from people that are angry at something other than girls and their fathers.
